Abstract

The article aimed to analyze comparatively the satisfaction of black and non-black users of Psychosocial Care Centers on Alcohol and Drugs from three Brazilian states. Quantitative, cross-sectional, evaluative, descriptive and exploratory study, with data collected through interviews followed by inferential analysis. The study included 707 users, mostly men, self-declared black, with an average age of 44 years. The results show that black and non-black users were equally satisfied with the assistance offered, especially with the competence and understanding of the professionals, reception and help received. The Psychosocial Care Centers on Alcohol and Drugs are powerful places of care to any kind of population with needs that come from substances use.
