Abstract

The purpose of the article was to analyze the implementation of Pedagogical Accreditation in Brazil, from 2014 to 2018. A documentary analysis was carried out to produce the data, based on the reports elaborated in the period, seeking to identify the main problems related to this implementation in both the broader management dimension, as well as regarding the accreditation processes. The results pointed to problems of several orders and positive effects for the process,
for the institutional actors and for the Unified Health System (SUS). The results show that there are management, pedagogical and infrastructure problems. However, accreditation has produced positive effects for schools, for workers and for the SUS.
