Abstract

The article reports the experience of a specialization course in work management and health education, aimed at managers and workers of the Unified Health System in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Composed of 380 hours and organized in 04 didactic units, each with their respective modules, the course was held between august 2018 and june 2019, in the distance modality, with the problematization as a pedagogical conception. In addition, the course aimed to support the management teams, providing access to new theoretical and practical knowledge, contributing to the strengthening of work management and health education. At the end of the specialization course, the participants presented their Intervention Course Conclusion Papers, initially having to identify a problem within their work locus and, therefore, choose the ways to solve it. It is hoped that this proposal can contribute to critical reflection and discussion about the importance of continuing education for health workers. In addition, within its limitations, it is intended to highlight the contribution of distance education for professional qualification and for the support of the Unified Health System.
